About “Playing at altitude”

At its sixth edition, the Master Class “Playing at altitude” aims to offer young selected musicians, the opportunity to study for 9 days, from the 18th to the 26th of July, instrument techniques and musical interpretation, together with two international musicians, Stefan Horvath and Razvan Suma.

The location chosen for the event will give students an adequate atmosphere for study and relaxation. Within this program, participants will have the opportunity to meet Ramona Pasca, a specialist in personal development programs, where participants will be encouraged to identify both their strengths and their improvable characteristics that can influence artistic performance.

At the end of this educational program, teachers will designate the best student, who will have the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the “Notes and Ties” orchestra, on the stage of the University House in Cluj-Napoca.

Final concerts will take place in the Concert Hall of Poiana Stampei on the occasion of the “Flori de pe Dorna” Festival and in the synagogue of Bistrita on the occasion of the Poetry and Chamber Music Festival.

“Playing at altitude” Master Class aims to offer young musicians a chance to meet exceptional teachers, who would contribute to their artistic and personal development, and create professional opportunities in the future.
