Dear all, I announce you that this year I decided to take a break from our activity.
We have spent seven summers full of music, nice people and memories that, I hope, will keep you up until we will see each other again!

"Playing at altitude" is a Master Class organized in Bucovina, Poiana Stampei, where twenty pre-selected students will have the opportunity to study instrument and interpretation techniques together with violinist Stefan Horvath and cellist Razvan Suma.
Final concerts will be held in the Concert Hall of Poiana Stampei on the occasion of the “Flori de pe Dorna” Festival and in the synagogue of Bistriţa on the occasion of the Poetry and Chamber Music Festival.

Master Class time frame: July 18 – 26th, 2019 Registration fee: 1200 Lei (includes accommodation, course attendance and 3 meals/day) Please send the payment confirmation by email to the organizers. Students will be picked up from the town of Bistrita, County of Bistrita-Nasaud, on July 18, 2019 between 3 pm – 6 pm and taken to the destination place.
At its sixth edition, the Master Class “Playing at altitude” aims to offer young selected musicians, the opportunity to study for 9 days, from the 18th to the 26th of July, instrument techniques and musical interpretation, together with two international musicians, Stefan Horvath and Razvan Suma.
The location chosen for the event will give students an adequate atmosphere for study and relaxation. Within this program, participants will have the opportunity to meet Ramona Pasca, a specialist in personal development programs, where participants will be encouraged to identify both their strengths and their improvable characteristics that can influence artistic performance.
At the end of this educational program, teachers will designate the best student, who will have the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the “Notes and Ties” orchestra, on the stage of the University House in Cluj-Napoca.
Final concerts will take place in the Concert Hall of Poiana Stampei on the occasion of the “Flori de pe Dorna” Festival and in the synagogue of Bistrita on the occasion of the Poetry and Chamber Music Festival.
